Al'ight!私奔到月球..
Back to MSN.. yes I'm back..It's really a long time since I abandoned here, maybe more than half an year.
For someone, for some sake, I pick it up again.
Long time lingering in Xiaonei.com, I get bored. I found that's more like a matchmaking network rather than a blog. Because of the real name and real photo, people can locate their target easily; howbeit, its news system sets every word, every blog under the sight of public, including those I don't even wanna walk with. And that website is becoming more and more commercial, just like Q-Zong.. Sadly I've tried to click on those my former msn friends, hardly anyone there, just as I predicted.
It's OK, just a bit pity though. I opened this blog in English with the purpose of recording something of myself, out of the sight of those I don't wanna share with. If real friend, whatsoever, I won't lost. And I'm ready to meet some new friends here! Hello to those who've seen this blog!
I'm Avan and welcome to my space. I like music, travel, billiard and wine. If you like it just as I do, share with me pls~ Though it's already 2 am. here, I've got no sleepiness at all.
No affliction, no worry.. though there're lots of worrying things around me, like being unemployed. But
Life is full of hope, just because of its incomplete. I believe my shitty life will shine. ![]() Peace cigarette.. my favouriteThis can be the best cigarette I've ever tried. Not only for its flavor, but for its history.
"Peace cigarette" first appeared after the WII in 1945, with its origrinal manufacturer American General Headquarters under the assignment of U.N. in Japan.
the left pack in the pic below is the original one.
After <Treaty of San Francisco> came into practice, "Peace cigarette" had also redesigned his logo.(the right pack in the pic above is the redesigned one)
watch carefully, it can be easily recognized that the logo is a peace dove placed upside down. But the hidden meaning is far beyond the image.
Actually, the shape of the reversed peace dove is exactly like a reversed Japanese character which means King, to place it upside down can be described a rebel of the King's power.
see in the pic below
After Japan's surrender in 1945, U.N. authorized U.S. to take over its power, with the help of America, congress was set, consititution was built, and the democratic system has replaced the mikado autocratic system. So the Mikado in Japan no longer have the ultimate power, but becoming a symbol of its nation. Damn it! The blue algae broke out again...After years' peace, the blue alage disaster occured again! All in a flash while the urban residents of my howntown Wuxi woke up yesterday morning, only to find the tap water got stinking! And almost all the districts of the city were flooded with the smelly tap water!! As for the case, it's an agelong problem caused by the overgrowth of blue algae. While people drained sullage into Taihu Lake, the sullage could contain nitrogen and phosphorus. While superfluous of the two were discharged into the lake, it could caused an overgrowth of algae, further deteriorating the water quality. As a result the tap water which was mainly from the Taihu Lake had gone bad and smelly as well. Actually the case takes place every summer, but is confined with some certain districts closed with the lake and without such a big influence as this time. The biggest one occured in the past was about in 1992, which had lasted for nearly a month. I hope the disaster of this time won't be that bad... plus: the barreled distilled water of 18 litres has risen up to 50 yuan till now. The Black Parade——My Chemical RomanceAt the heart of My Chemical Romance lore is the story of lead singer/songwriter/mouthpiece Gerard Way, an animator who decided to abandon illustrations and do "something with his life" in the wake of 9/11. Needless to say, that "important" thing was My Chemical Romance, which quickly rose to prominence among the emo and neo-punk bands that cluttered the rock landscape of the 2000s thanks in large part to "I'm Not OK (I Promise)," a surging piece of emo pop with a hook as ridiculously catchy as its title was ridiculous. It deservedly became a hit on both sides of the Atlantic in 2005, dragging its accompanying album -- 2004's Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, the group's second -- along for the ride, turning MCR into stars, at least in modern rock circles, but anybody who didn't follow the fashions of emo and punk closely might have ignored the group's tragic, romantic neo-goth image and merely assumed that MCR was another good poppy punk one-hit wonder, not far removed from, say, Fall Out Boy. My Chemical Romance intended to dispel all such misconceptions with their third album, The Black Parade, an unabashed, old-fashioned concept album, complete with characters wandering through a vague narrative that concerns very big themes like death. Actually, death is the only big theme on The Black Parade, which shouldn't come as a big surprise for a band that named their stopgap live album Life on the Murder Scene, nor should the record's theatricality come as much as a shock, either -- tragedy and melodrama are hardwired in the group's DNA, as illustrated by the often-told tale of Way's inspiration to form the band. Also, it's not as if The Black Parade is MCR's first concept album, either. Their 2002 debut, I Brought You My Bullets, and its follow-up, Three Cheers, told the interlocking story of doomed lovers on the run from vengeful vampires or some such nonsense, but only the hardcore who were willing to analyze endlessly on the Internet were aware of this; based on pure sound, MCR was an emo-punk band through and through, screaming out their feelings as if they were revelations, so it was easy to assume that their music was merely autobiographical. My Chemical Romance took great pains to have The Black Parade seem like its own theatrical work, launching a whole Web-based campaign, filled with videos and interviews explaining how the album tells the tale of "the Patient," a young man dying of cancer in a hospital bed who flashes back on his undistinguished life upon the moment of his death, and how the band got so into this project they considered themselves not My Chemical Romance, but a band called the Black Parade -- shades of the Beatles and Sgt. Pepper! Naturally, those allusions are quite deliberate, and one that MCR played up in that pre-release campaign, dropping liberal reference to Queen (particularly A Night at the Opera) and Pink Floyd's The Wall as well. It was all quite reminiscent of how the Killers set up Sam's Town with endless name-dropping of Bruce Springsteen and U2, but where the Las Vegas quartet wound up with an unholy fusion of these two extremes, MCR never synthesizes; they openly steal from their holy trinity, then graft it upon the sound they've patented. Often, it seems as if they copied The Wall onto tracing paper and placed it upon Three Cheers. The story of The Black Parade is nearly identical to The Wall -- Pink and the Patient run through a litany of childhood and adulthood traumas; absent fathers loom large; many of the main character's flaws are cruelly deemed the fault of the mother -- and there are plenty of flourishes lifted from Roger Waters' magnum opus: the opening fanfare "The End" is a re-creation of "In the Flesh," right down to the churning heavy guitars that come crashing in halfway through, while "Mama" -- shades of "Mother"! -- sounds like Green Day performing "The Trial," as Way affects Billie Joe's affected mock-English accent as he comes tantalizingly close to following "You should have raised a baby girl/I should have been a better son" with "The way you made them suffer/Your exquisite wife and mother/Fills me with the urge to defecate." These are not the only allusions to classic concept albums, either -- as promised, guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero conjure Brian May's spirit, "Cancer" recalls Sgt. Pepper as filtered through Oasis -- but The Black Parade doesn't feel like a revival of '70s prog as much as it hearkens back to the twin towers of mid-'90s concept alt-rock: the Smashing Pumpkins' Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness and Marilyn Manson's Antichrist Superstar. Manson's enduring fascination with the grotesque echoes throughout the album, from the artwork through Way's overcooked, bluntly ugly lyrics (highlighted by "soggy from the chemo"), but its heart lies with the Pumpkins, and not just because after his Parade makeover Way strongly resembles Billy Corgan. Like the Pumpkins, My Chemical Romance shares a love of classic metal that manifests itself in both pummeling riffs and soaring guitar solos, plus they also have a flair for melody, two things that give their solipsistic rock muscle and grandeur. If MCR didn't have these gifts, The Black Parade would collapse in a pile of drama club clichés, sophomoric self-pity, and an adolescent obsession with death, yet they manage to skirt such a disaster even if they flirt with it shamelessly. But that doesn't necessarily mean that the album is a triumph. For one, The Black Parade plays a lot straighter than it reads. Sure, it has the marching bands, overdubbed choirs, radio-play theatrics, and Liza Minnelli cameos, a list that makes the album sound like a wild Grand Guignol rock opera but all of that winds up being window dressing to music that often isn't far removed from what My Chemical Romance has done before. Despite all these seemingly fancy accouterments, they're still a modern emo-punk band, which means for all the emotion poured out by their ever-earnest lead singer, there's little grit in their sound and Rob Cavallo's brittle production doesn't help, as its wall of digital sound emphasizes the sonic similarities between the songs instead of their differences. And there are a lot of similarities here: the bulk of the record is firmly within MCR's comfort zone, which helps make the extra flair -- which doesn't arrive as often as it should -- stand out all the more. But even if this isn't quite the radical break that it was intended to be, MCR does their signature blend of Sturm und Drang better than ever -- "Dead!" rushes along on a series of escalating hooks, "This Is How I Disappear" surges with purpose -- and when they're paired with tunes that do break the mold, like the wonderfully pompous title track "Welcome to the Black Parade" or "Teenagers," a tremendous reworking of the "Bang a Gong"/"Cactus" riff that is the simplest and best song they've ever written, it makes for a record that's their strongest, most cohesive yet, even if it isn't quite as weird or compelling as it should be given the group's lofty ambitions. Cited from starpulse.com What a fool! God played a trick on me!Today's right the eve of the "fantastic long vacation".. Although many guys are mad about it, as to me, it's no better than a weekend, which appears to be a bit longer but much more crowded.. As a result the neglectable tickets are treated as treasure.. Luckily, I'm advisable enough to have booked the coach ticket a week ahead. However, there's something out of my expectation which nearly had stoped me from going home..that I'm too optimistic about the traffic at the high time! I set off for the coach station to catch the coach of 4:00 PM with one hour advanced. I thought it would be abundant in time as I usually spend 30 mins' time going to the station by bus.. While half of the hour passed, I was proven to be wrong as I had just got on the bus!! I bacame anxious.. when there was only 10 mins left but I was just on the half-way, I decided to get off and took a cab instead.. I was lucky, at least of that time, as I met a experienced cab driver.. On knowing my emergency, he took me across the alleyway to find a hidden shortcut and I could never image I could get the station so fast!! While I got the station, there was 2 mins left. Although the waiting room is at the second floor and there is still quite a length for me to run, at least, I could see a glimmar of hope! It's said that humanbeing has a great potential which can be provoked at the crisis, now I believe it. I had two luggages, one contains my laptop and some books with a weight of 8KG or more, the other contains my winter clothes with a weight of 5KG or more. Commonly, that's quite a load for me and I can hardly walk fast, saying nothing of running. But this time, I almost reached my topspeed with all of the weight!! I got to the waiting room with just 2 min! But God played a trick on me... While I rushed to the check point, only to find my coach delayed for half an hour... I faint! Baidu... you're so talented!Go to the Baidu search engine and have a search of the classical abbreviation "SB"
look what's showed of the first title~~
Baidu is so talented~
lol... Four months departure...I'm back!I'm back again.. I find myself not a responsible guy, I do wanna write something, many times when I opened my space and got ready to type, only to find nothing to write... during these days I finally learned the genuine complex feeling that a junior could have... Just the same situation as what happened of my space, I wanna find a direction to work hard towards, but I'm hesitating when chosing it. So many ways leads to success, which would fit me well? Many seniors said I should made up my conclusion until I've tried my best. I agree the piece of advice, after all all roads leads to Rome, but I also thing it a important part chosing a right direction, in that case I can avoid making a hard detour. I think I can find the direction belonging to me in the end!
And what about u? Have u find urs? Here I wish u a good tomorrow.
Vouloir c'est pouvoir! Merry Christmas! Now it's Christmas Eve! Hours later it's the time that the son of the LORD befell to the earth! Let's celebrate the holy time!
Merry Christmas everybody! Joyeux anniversaire... I've just come through my 21st birthday! I'm already a grown-up, no longer a boy. Is that a good thing for me? Perhaps I would become much more reasonable, and maybe more handsome than before. But on the other hand, that also stand for more responsibilities that I should take... With time elapses, I'm now at the edge of graduation. I can feel the pressure everyday getting stronger and stronger! Someone said, life is a everlasting struggle. Now I recall it, what a precise description! Yep, once I achieve one goal, there would be another waiting for me... When I stop struggling, that might be the end of my life...
Vouloir c'est pouvoir!
Allze Avàn!
Joyeux Anniversaire!
To see how foreigners look on us ChineseIf you are a Chinese, please take some minutes to read the passage below.
If you have any problem on comprehension, leave me a message or send me a E-mail.
Thanks.

Opinion 1:
I have been living in China for three years, Chinese people are generally gentle and friendly. Chinese girls are the most beautiful girls with the softest skin, shapely figure and generally hard working attitude.
How ever, I have been used by Chinese people. I am an English teacher from the U'K. and Chinese parents, and fellow colleagues have invited me for meals under the guise of friendship when the real intention is to speak english with their son or daughter. As a result, I feel like a machine and feel terrible. I'm bombarded with questions. Another aspect of Chinese life is 'Guanxi' this means connections. Generally, the Chinese system is corrupt, it's a matter of who you know and how much you can pay. I'm sure this happens in many countries, but here it's particularly rampant. On the whole, Chinese people speak from the heart and not the head, they are a spiritual people. For 2,500 years the law of Confucious was the nation's guide, this taught people how to be a 'good citizen' . Then when Mao ze dong, deng xiao ping, Zhou en lai, ect, took over one can see a demise of a civilization. Mao obliterated Zhongguo culture. This dictator was responsible for a famine in the mid- 60's which led to cannibalism. (read Jung Chang's Wild Swans). Today, the CPPCC are all business graduates, the country is geared towards science and technology, the intellectuals don't really exist. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________
Opinion 2:
I can tell you about what I have observed in my country, Chinese groups of inmigrants have
arrived during the last 15 years. They are absolute unknown people to us, because they don´t mix much with the rest of the spanish citizens. They rule their restaurants, their bargain shops and lately their clothes shops... I find amazing your culture, but we cannot get much first hand information. These people learn our language so quickly that it is incredible!, sometimes I think that if I had to learn chinese, I could not ever learn it as such speed. The isolation of these groups towards the rest of the civilians have given out thousands of 'black legends', such as that there have not been a single defunction of a single chinese in our country in years and that´s what statistics refer, so people tend to invent many things, but I think that everything is because everything remains a complete mistery for most of us. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________
Opinion 3:
I think some of Chinese are very snobby, that is true. I don't want to say any thing bad on Chinese people, I just want to tell something that I know. Some of my school mates here who come form China are very crafty. I mean, it depends on indivaduals. But they really do make me and my friends feel in that way. Sometimes they lie to us, even to proffesors, probably just want to make themselves look better in our American eyes. (Now I know that is because of 'face') (we really dislike those people who always lie, I mean, no matter where they come from). And I feel like, they don't like each other that much, I mean, Chinese people and chinese people. So wired to me.
But, there's no doubt that they are really really hard-working. Actually I really like Chinese people, even though sometimes they are hard to understand. PS. I can speak Chinese very well, and I can write in Chinese, very well I think, because I have lived there for a very long time. (Beijing) About 8 or 9 years. I went into elementary school, middle school and high school in China. Now I back to States. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________
Opinion 4:
Hi, I do not agree some of your opions.
Chinese are smart hard workers, but they do not tend to act as groups. There is a saying in China said " 1 chinese alone is a dragon while 3 chinese togather is a worm" _____________________________________________________________________________________________________
Every buddy who is now visiting my space and who is Chinese as I am, how do you feel after reading the posts?
According to foreigners' view, Chinese people is hard-working and clever, that's ture without doubt. I'm proud of it indeed. But there're also many problems such as snobby and lack of cooperation! That's ture and I can feel it deeply just surround me! What shall we do? Just to be disdained by the world or to stay together?!
Ps: Recently I'm almost busy with my study and hardly have any time to take care of my space. So I'm sorry for it :) Bleak rain comes again.. Although winter has come for half a month, but the weather is still warm. This strange phenomenon seems to be reasonable in nowadays the strange world, and I've ready been used to it, as I still have T-shirts in my garderobe even in November. Acutally I like the abnormal, because I hate cold. But what will be, will be.With rain falls, the temperature falls so sudden that I can't realize in time.
I always feel depressed when rainning days, and this time is the same as usual..............
Where's the sun?? BRITAIN AND THE EU.Some of the main points of British criticism against the EU are that Europe for one is a place for holidaying, not for politics. Most British politicians have been unfamiliar with, and have felt distaste for continental politics. The Labour party for example wanted to get Britain taken out of the EU. Britain has also been an Empire for a long time, and then it’s hard to join an organization demanding a handover of national sovereignty. The EU standards and regulations are something that triggers irritation in Britain when they for example have to change the way they make bicycle brakes to meet EU standards, when they think their way of making bicycle brakes is perfectly fine. One issue which has caused big discussions is the Agricultural policy and the British contributions to the community budget.
Britain expected to gain new alliances, new markets and to strengthen their European identity by joining the EU. But she had little satisfaction from the experience, one reason for this could be that EU membership seemed to have brought Britain neither the expected losses nor the expected gains. Even though Britain isn’t too pleased being a member of the EU she cant leave the community because an increasing amount of her trade is done with the EU. When the EU was formed it was 30% as compared to the 45% today. It would also be unthinkable for Britain to be shut out of talks on world issues with such countries as France and Germany, something she probably would be if she quit being a member of the EU. Reflection Of LifeA son and his father were walking on the mountains.

The father smiles and says: "My son, pay attention." And then he screams to the mountain: "I admire you!" The voice answers: "I admire you!" Again the man screams: "You are a champion!" The voice answers: "You are a champion!" The boy is surprised, but does not understand. Then the father explains: "People call this ECHO, but really this is LIFE.
