  "Peace cigarette" first appeared after the WII in 1945, with its origrinal manufacturer American General Headquarters under the assignment of U.N. in Japan.

After <Treaty of San Francisco> came into practice, "Peace cigarette" had also redesigned his logo.(the right pack in the pic above is the redesigned one)

watch carefully, it can be easily recognized that the logo is a peace dove placed upside down. But the hidden meaning is far beyond the image.

Actually, the shape of the reversed peace dove is exactly like a reversed Japanese character which means King, to place it upside down can be described a rebel of the King's power.

After Japan's surrender in 1945, U.N. authorized U.S. to take over its power, with the help of America, congress was set, consititution was built, and the democratic system has replaced the mikado autocratic system.
